Ramona Arora is the Director of Global Learning and Leadership Development at Dell Technologies. Her team designs, delivers and consults on leading-edge solutions that elevate leadership capabilities across the enterprise with a key focus on cultivating inspiring leaders.
From her roots as a high school teacher and Division 1 varsity boys basketball coach, Ramona‘s passion and expertise is grounded in helping people maximize their potential and supporting organizations in developing their people in meaningful ways. With over twenty years of experience in strategically developing and deploying tools that help individuals connect their true talents with ambition and vision – she has helped thousands of individuals successfully navigate career and life transitions, and has led organizations in developing and optimizing talent. Her keen interest in diving deep into this field led her to pursue her doctorate degree from McGill University in Montreal, Canada where she studied the impact of (socio)economics, migration, and cognitive decision-making on human capital trends through a critical lens of identifying, leveraging and sustaining diverse talent.
Ramona is a certified executive coach and continues to be a “talent tinker” and “career connector” for international clients seeking meaningful work and her former students, including both international and URM MBA alumni from the McCombs School of Business at UT Austin.
Vi Nguyen
World traveler with a passion to improve the communities we live in. From supporting families affected by HIV/AIDs in Vietnam to fighting for the rights of immigrants during the BP oil spill, she craftily uses her skills in media and business to solve real-world problems. Her sociology background allows her to concentrate on solutions that positively affect our communities and society. Currently, she is the founder and CEO of Homads, a startup that helps people relocate well by using smart technology to locate neighborhoods as unique as them. This solution helps employers avoid turnover, saving them on average $20k for every potential lost employee.
Juan De Amezaga
Juan De Amezaga is currently a manager within the People Operations Organization at Google and a graduate of the University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining Google in 2015, Juan worked in Human Capital and Sales Operations Consulting within the Financial Services and Tech industries. Although by no means an expert, Juan has a healthy obsession with understanding human behavior at work; namely in human motivation, happiness, irrationality, leadership and change management. All of this in an effort to make his organization, and others as productive and happy as possible.
